To achieve this it is essential that a base layer thas the ability to wick away moisture. If the base layer cannot wick away moisture then all your clothing will start to get wet and cold.
    The base layer should be fitted close to the body to ensure maximum contact between the skin and the garment, this maxmimises the fabric's ability to wick moisture away from the skin and retain body heat.
