A very similar design is used by the British Forces for carrying all their essential items close to their body
Your little soldier could use the pockets for pretend ammo, wallet, pretend grenades or just treasures, (snails, pebbles, anything else they find on their travels)
Fully adjustable at both the back and the shoulders so will fit a child approx 3 - 12 years of age - if you are unsure please ask for help
